Nowadays it is so easy to skip, forget or neglect your fitness as we are so busy with work, family and social engagements This creates a dangerous habit. The faster and longer we adopt this way of living, the easier it gets to continue with it and the harder it is to start over again. Also, we’re putting our health on the back burner. But we can do so much better than that!

There are a so many general fitness related exercises we can do with very little investment of time or money. If you have a job at the office, there’re simple steps you can take to increase you step count up, such as taking the stairs instead of the elevator. If you work on the ground floor, take the stairs at lunchtime or have a brisk walk after; these small actions will count for decent cardio in a short period of time.

Finding a good area to run and burn off some extra energy is a great way to either start the day or end it, or even fill a lunch break. Whatever suits you the best. In the end it is all about making good use of the spare of time we have and turning them into effective cardio. Even volunteering to take a walk from one office across town to another is going to rack up a few thousand steps, meaning you exercised for free on the clock. That’s a sweet gig!

Also, using cheap or free apps, YouTube videos and downloadable lessons is also great if time and budget are both tight. We can turn the home into a de facto gym where we can rack up a few minutes or as many hours of exercise as we want or have time for. Just be sure to build up and graduate the exercises so that we do not stagnate and continue to give ourselves a workout. Time will be tight, so intensity rather than duration should be increased. In a few weeks time, 15 minutes of blasting our hardcore cardio will still leave you feeling exhilarated if you’ve done it right.
